About Us

How did this happenHow did that happen?

In 1991 I was visiting relatives in Canada who owned a house with a swimming pool and hot tub.
Every evening we sat in this hot tub, had a drink and just enjoyed the warm water.

When I returned home, I also wanted a bubble bath on my terrace. As good as the idea was, it was difficult to implement it. In 1991 there was not a single affordable hot tub. The cheapest one I found cost around SFr. 18,000.-- and was only for 2 people. That was too much for my “little joy”.

It wasn't until a few years later that I accidentally came across a dealer who sold this Spa-n-a-box. Easy to transport and set up, yet sturdy enough to withstand my cats' claws.

Only the price made me dissatisfied again. The gentleman wanted over CHF 7000.--. He wouldn't let me deal with him either and so I decided to look for the manufacturer myself, which I managed to do after a long search, emails and phone calls. I ordered one and got it to me in about a week, set it up and enjoyed it. Just when it was starting to be fun, globalization got in the way. Pools can no longer be ordered individually, but rather a boatload full. But as an online shop, we didn't have storage space for such huge quantities.

Luckily the producer agreed to purchase smaller quantities, and smaller quantities had in the meantime become 20" containers, but still not a shipload.

We have been bathing for over 20 years now. Almost every evening we sit in this bath, often before going to sleep, and enjoy the pleasant and relaxing massage as well as the warm water.

With Covid in 2019 came the end of this company, which was aging and had no young talent. So I had to look for alternatives. However, the criteria were the same:
- Non-inflatable means solid walls - and so suitable for winter
- Easy to issue and maintain
- Parts also available after the support period has expired
- And if possible a seller in Europe.

So we ordered two products from Poolstar in France, set them up, tested them, wrote better descriptions for them and started putting them out to tender. The first octagonal one was gone quickly and we ordered more pools. In the meantime we only have the round Vita Premium in stock for which I was now able to build a hardcover. This will be ready for sale from around February 2024.
We built the first prototype at our facility and are very satisfied. Easy to open - just unfold, easy to close - fold up.?
